Working with 180 year 6 students!

Thursday, June 19th, 2014

Yup, as you can probably tell from the title – it’s been a pretty crazy day. I do love ambassador work though, it’s so rewarding and I enjoy meeting all the different people at events. ¬†Today it was a Primary event with lots of year 6 students. As always, Professor John Kilcoyne was there to do his Chemistry talk/demonstration and the students always love it. I think I’m going to do a post and a video about being a student ambassador sometime in the next few weeks – when I find I have a spare afternoon! It’s crazy, you’d think that because I’m now finished all my university work that I’d have loads of spare time, but it’s really not the case at all!

University of Sunderland Student Ambassador Video

Tuesday, May 20th, 2014

I’m going to be famous… haha, not really! But I am going to feature in the Student Ambassador video. I filmed my segments for it last week and I think it went pretty well. Through being a Lives Online blogger, I’ve got a bit of an advantage since I’m used to talking to the camera whereas some of the other ambassadors might have found it a bit strange.

I’m looking forward to seeing what it looks like when it’s finished! I’ve seen a sneaky preview, which I’m not allowed to share with you but when it’s all done – keep an eye on my blog and my facebook page to see it!

Exeter UCAS Event

Tuesday, March 18th, 2014

I’ve just landed in Exeter where I will be working at the UCAS event tomorrow and Thursday (alongside another student ambassador) and thought I’d share with you the great view I had from my window seat on the plane!
