A Trip To The Farm

Tuesday, April 29th, 2014

One of the great things about living in the North East, is the amount of green fields and countryside. Although it’s a bit of a nightmare in the summer for hayfever sufferers (myself included) during Spring it’s such an amazing place to be. One of the things I love to do in Spring is visit a farm and see all the baby animals, especially the lambs.

This Spring has been no different and of course I had to go along and see them all. I went back to Hall Hill Farm; where I visited with my family when I was 2 years old. I had a lovely afternoon and thought I’d make a little video while I was there to show you what I got up to.

I hope you enjoy it – I’m sure you will if you’re a fan of baby animals like me!

Fashion Blogger Challenge with Very!

Friday, April 25th, 2014

So as I mentioned in my recent video, I was involved in a blogger challenge with Very recently and featured in their magazine that was out with OK! Magazine. Very exciting stuff (if you excuse the unintended pun!)

I was given the trend, Embellishments to style for night time and had to pick items from the website to put together an outfit. It took me a good couple hours to pick out items, since there’s so much to choose from but I ended up deciding on this Lipsy shift dress and Lipsy sandals, a clutch bag by Little Mistress and a black biker jacket by Myleene Klass to toughen up the look.

I thought I’d share with you some of the photos my boyfriend very kindly took for me to show how I styled the outfit and I hope you like it! I’m going to try and feature more fashion/style posts on here since it’s something I’m really interested in. Let’s hope I can be featured in another magazine soon, that’d be amazing!

A road trip to see Manchester Orchestra

Saturday, April 12th, 2014

Earlier this week my boyfriend and I headed down to Birmingham to see a band we both really like; Manchester Orchestra. Don’t let their name fool you though, they’re not an orchestra, nor are they from Manchester but Atlanta, Georgia in the USA. I made a vlog for our trip which you can see below and I’ve included some of my favourite photos I took while we were there too! I’m yet to fully edit the ones I took of the band with my photo pass, but I’m sure I’ll pop a few up on my facebook page soon, so keep an eye out for them!

March Update!

Saturday, April 5th, 2014

As my last video was focused on The Network, I thought this week I would chat about what I’ve been up to lately and the progress with our dissertation film. There’s a few exciting/scary bits of news to tell you (one of which you’re gonna have to wait for the official announcement next week, unless you’ve already done a quick search and found out!) Hope you enjoy it and I’ll see you again next week!
