Vlogging mistakes throughout the 12 months!

Sunday, August 31st, 2014

Hey guys!

Below is a video I put together to share with you nearly all my vlogging experiences! I think it’s really funny to look back and see how much I’ve learned in just blogging alone. I could safely say that before lives online I had a little bit of blogging experiences but non on vlogging…But now, I am an expert (at least I’d like to think so).

These are the skills I’ve gain from blogging for the Uni (I’m sure there are more, but I’m only writing a few):

  • Speaking – I’ve become more confident in speaking in general and particularly in front of the camera.
  • Organisation –  I’ve learned to organise my blogs and vlogs in a particular way.
  • Proofreading – Although this may sound obvious, to me it isn’t because it’s something I never really used to do. However because I was blogging, I had to make sure that I proofread everything I post.
  • Writing.
  • Editing.

Working with the NCS!

Wednesday, August 13th, 2014

Hey guys!

So this is some of the activities I have been doing this summer!

The NCS is a summer program for young people. During this period the young people have to complete three phase of the program. The first phase is the outdoor challenge! This mainly encourage young people to get over their fears etc… The second and third phase is more of a mental challenge; the young people are asked to get more creative, do presentation of something they passionate about etc.

As you would see on my video below, the support workers were also encouraged to take part in order to set an example for the young people, which meant I had to take part too! So this was a new thing for me because I have never done this before, but it was an amazing experience.

Hope you enjoy the video.

Keep safe and stay blessed!
