Today was the day me and my course mates exchanged secret santa gifts! After keeping secrets and trying to work out who had who for months, it was finally time to reveal all.

Metro Radio Access All Areas

Saturday, December 7th, 2013

Following Metro Radio Live I had to visit the Metro Radio HQ to drop some photo’s off. Dhillon, one of the employees of Metro, kindly offered to give me and my girlfriend & course mate Emma, a tour of the offices. We bumped into the lengendary DJ Alan Robson, who had some very interesting stories to tell and met with DJ Stu Elmore who I had met a few days earlier at Metro Radio Live. It was a fantastic afternoon learning about the different departments within the radio station and what they do. I’ve tried to capture the most interesting bits in my video above. Enjoy!

A joint video that myself and Tasha made whilst working backstage at Metro Radio Live.

The University of Sunderland was an Official Sponsor of the event.

We were lucky enough to meet many of the artists! See pics below…

At the moment I feel like I’m living a true roller coaster life, I’ve had so many fantastic opportunities fall my way and others I’ve really worked for. Myself and fellow blogger Tasha Steel worked backstage at Metro Radio Live recently, a massive music gig…this was AWESOME and we got to meet many famous faces, a couple of which you can see below. We’re producing a blog about the event, so keep your eyes peeled for this, we got some great footage. The University of Sunderland was an official sponsor!

Following the event, I had to visit Metro Radio to hand over some photo’s and was kindly given a tour of the station by Dhillon 🙂

Here’s a photo of me and my course mate Emma hanging out with DJ Stu Elmore! It was great to get an insight into how the station works and meet the fab team there. A vlog about this experience will also follow soon.

Apart from this, I’m working extremely hard at Uni and have an unbelieveable amount of work over the next few weeks, it’s going to be tough to fit it all in, but I’m determined as ever to do the best I can and to continue seizing every opportunity.
